Kenya's Masai Mara has often been hailed as the wildlife mecca of the world. It is the Northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem which hosts a fantastic population of wildebeest and zebra fondly know as 'the migration'. 1.5 million of the former and 250,000 of the latter (by conservative estimates) perpetually move in search of grass produced by the seasonal rain. By moving they are able to maintain these huge numbers.
